2023 Event
The second year at Orchard Place Farm. This year was slightly bigger than last year and saw us take over lakes 7, 8 and 12 with a total of 46 anglers. Like last year the weather was really hot which made fishing challenging (especially on lake 12 where there was no shade). Fishing on lakes 7 and 8 was generally very good with many anglers catching over 20 fish.
Our fundraising saw £8500 raised for The Teenage Cancer Trust.
The winners:
Highest fundraiser was again Christo Welshy who raised £2700 and won himself a mega trip to the Ebro in Spain.
Biggest Catfish caught overall was Scott George on Lake 7 with a 60lb fish (also the biggest catfish caught at the event)
Biggest team weight on lake 7 was John Deerlove and his partner who caught over 1500lb of catfish.

Biggest Catfish on lake 8 was Jon Mcphillimy with a 50lb fish and a new PB
Biggest Carp on lake 8 was new comer to our event, Andy Jenkins with a 24lb
Biggest Team weight on lake 8 was Jon Mcphillimy and Sam Killick with around 450lb of catfish.
Biggest Catfish on lake 12 was Charl Maughan

2022 Event
This was the first year at Orchard Place Farm, Like the previous year we was raising vital funds for The Teenage Cancer Trust. We had to have a reduced number of participants due to lake availability and also because of the Covid recovery.
We had a total of 36 people fishing the event, the weather was what can only be described as scorching hot with high 20s low 30s every day. This made the fishing challenging at times.
A total of £7024 was raised for The Teenage Cancer Trust.
The biggest fundraiser was Christo Walshy who won a trip for 2 to Clear Waters in France.
The biggest Catfish caught overall was Paul Barnes with a fish of 67lb
The biggest team weight on lake 7 was Dan Simpson and Christo Walshy
The biggest Catfish caught on lake 7 was Paul Barnes with 67lb fish
The biggest Carp caught on lake 7 was Paul Barnes with a 37lb fish (part of a double take with the 67lb Catfish.
The biggest team weight on lake 8 was James Smith and Ben Proctor with a amazing 859lb of fish
The biggest Catfish caught on lake 8 was Andrew Bunce with a 54lb fish
The biggest Carp caught was Craig Hayball.
